Why I Built Haven

My career has always been about turning complexity into clarity. With a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, an MBA, and years across SaaS, health tech, and consulting, I've spent my professional life building tools that help people make better decisions with better data.

When my own family began navigating the senior living search, I ran into the same wall every family hits: no way to compare communities apples to apples. Every website wanted a phone number before showing a single price. Every "guide" was a lead-generation funnel. When I finally reached communities for real numbers, I got vague ranges and follow-up calls from multiple salespeople.

So I did what I know how to do — I collected the data myself. Months of direct calls to communities, gathering real floor plan prices, entrance fees, and waitlist timelines. Then I built the financial tools I wished had existed: a way to see your current monthly costs next to what community living actually costs, with real math, not guesswork.

I'm sharing Haven with other families because this decision shouldn't be made in the dark.
